LO1: Photography analysis

Adrian Dennis

I like this photograph as it is not only capturing the paraolympics, it is also capturing the emotions on the face of the man in the race which is obviously proud of what he has achieved because even though he has a disability has has achieved what he obviously wanted to. The techniques the photographer has used to get this really good photograph is, shallow depth of field, this is effective as it blurs out the background which is the crowd, this make the front object which is the man in focus which makes him the main focal point. This photographer has also used rules of thirds, this is also to make the middle man the main focus of the photograph. The photographer has also used low aperture, this makes the photograph clear.

I like this photograph as it is has captured the movement in the photograph, this is of the horses racing which would usually be too fast to see a movement like this, however the photographer has used a fast shutter speed to be able capture the horse this  it is also capturing the emotions on the face of the man in the race which is obviously proud of what he has achieved. The techniques the photographer has used to get this really good photograph is, shallow depth of field, this is effective as it blurs out the background which is the crowd, this make the front object which is the man in focus which makes him the main focal point.
